It’s time to get ready for the upcoming November 5 elections. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Early voting in Detroit kicks off October 19. Don’t sleep on it!

  • Haven’t registered to vote yet? No worries! You’ve got until October 21 to do it online or by mail. You can even register in person on Election Day (November 5) if you need to.

  • Planning to vote by mail? Make sure you request your ballot by November 1 at 5 PM, and return it by November 5 at 8 PM.

ALSO... you can use your student ID or a local government ID to vote!

It’s time to show up! Here’s what you need to lock in before the November 5 elections:

  • Early voting kicks off October 22 and runs through November 3. You can avoid the Election Day lines if you plan ahead.

  • Haven’t registered yet? You can register in person on Election Day (November 5).

  • If you’re voting by mail, request your ballot by October 31, and make sure it’s returned by November 5 at 8 PM.
